Dear 6th Grade Parents & Students:

I would just like to thank all of you for helping me host the final Lenten Supper of the season.  I couldn’t have done it without you. 

I would like to thank all the families who donated ingredients for our potato & salad bar and those who made desserts.  Thanks to Miss Lau for helping out and keeping everything “under control.”  Thanks to all the students who helped set up and take down the fellowship hall for the dinner, cleaned up during and after, took out the garbage, and carried boxes, pans, etc. out to my car at the end. J  Thanks to all the moms who helped me prepare, serve, and clean up after the dinner.  You all made it a breeze and I believe we were done in record time!!

I heard many wonderful comments about the dinner from the 150+ people who attended.  Thanks to ALL OF YOU it was a HUGE SUCCESS!!

Wednesday - Science Chapters 11 & 12 Test...study guide (already filled out) was handed out today
Friday - History Test...shorter than usual and an English Test (we will study in class on Thursday)

Tomorrow will be a light day because of the Forensics Fest.

A big thank you to all of the grandparents who came and made this day a special one for our students. All of the students had a great time with their grandparents and the Racing Sausages! Thank you to the parents who donated snacks and juice and those that helped make the morning enjoyable for all....THANK YOU!!!

There are no assignments over the weekend. Our whole morning was spent with the grandparents and the afternoon was spent on Christ Light, Hymnology, and Spelling. We also cleaned up our classroom for the Open House which is this Sunday.

A reminder for all students that they should be here no later than 7:45 am on Sunday morning!

What a wonderful blessing this Christian Education Week has been. It is a time to reflect on the amazing blessing that we have in TLS. We also thank God for the worker training school in our synod, Martin Luther College. Miss Megan Bauer, who has been a part of our classroom for the past week, has been a welcomed addition! We thank her for time and wish her God's richest blessings in her studies and in her future ministry!
