Please note that we are NOT singing at the service on March 6. I changed days so that Grades 3-4 could sing instead since they were cancelled due to the snow day yesterday. I will be picking a Sunday in April to sing - stay tuned!

I will also be leaving school at 1 pm tomorrow afternoon so I wanted to be sure everything got handed out today while I was here. You will find all the "regular" Thursday materials in there. Good Afternoon!
Thank you to all of the students and parents for making it such a fun week last week. Spirit Week, two field trips, Valentine's Day, and a Pep Rally made for a mixed up, but fun, week! We return to a more normal week this week. (I can hear the grumbling from afar...)
Lenten Supper - Would anyone be interested in helping me put one on in March and have our classroom sponsor it? I did the baked potato supper last year with Mrs. Proeber. This year, Mrs. Proeber is not going to do it but we still could! She has the list of everything needed. I would just need some moms and/or dads to help me the day of baking the potatoes and what not. I would also need help serving and cleaning up, which the students helped me do last year as well. Please email me this week if you think you'd be interested. I will sign us up for a date when I get enough responses. I would also be open to a different meal choice!
Book Report - Your child will explain this to you and should have brought their sheet home that was given to them last week. Please see the attached NOTE. Three options: 1. Email me that you have approved their idea. 2. Print off the note and send it tomorrow. 3. Write down the information on a separate piece of paper.

Tomorrow is Class Color Day.... YELLOW for us! We are making a special "head piece" tomorrow but students should wear as much yellow as possible. Please do not wear hair color or face paint because of church tomorrow afternoon.
We also remember tomorrow is Ash Wednesday so the first service is at 3:45. Please send church clothes along with your children if you plan to attend. We are also reminded to enter the sanctuary in silence.

What a wonderful snowy Thursday!
No snow day today but it was a nice day spent in our comfy classroom.
Thank you for being patient with me and getting caught up on correcting. I still have a few Catechism lessons to go but the end is in sight. Progress reports made their way home tonight along with all of the graded papers.
Pink slips, filled mission envelopes, and folders should be brought back to school tomorrow.
Please look over your child's English essay on Google Drive. The essay should have the following:
5 Paragraphs, all indented; no spelling/grammar mistakes; title and name centered and no bigger than 16 pt font; paragraphs should be no bigger than 12 pt font.
