We are in for a fun Thursday! We leave for SLHS's Mission Fest right at 8:45 so please be prompt. Those riding the bus can still ride the bus...no worries! We will return to school for Math (can you hear them rejoicing now?) and then we will party like it is 2013 starting at 12:30. Should be a good day. Those students who did not sign up for wings should pack their own lunch.

There were just a few BWW slips that were not turned in by today. Those students received a new sheet today. I am looking forward to our party on Thursday - wings and Brewers - how can you possibly go wrong? Parents, don't forget, you are invited to attend. Bring lawn chairs and lawn games - it should be a great time! Party time is 12:30 pm.

Welcome to a new week...and...it is SUNNY!
As a few students found out today, it is still a bit muddy in some areas around school. We will be doing track and field events on Mondays and Wednesdays and we need to practice outside as much as possible. Don't wear your fancy pants or brand new shoes if you'd like to keep them fancy and new.
We will travel to SLHS for a mission presentation on Thursday. No chaperons are needed as we will be taking a bus to and from Shoreland.
Our BWW/Brewer party will be on Thursday for lunch - parents are welcome!
We sing at the early service on Sunday. Please inform me ASAP if you will be unable to attend.

Another rainy day Caledonia...
...but we are loving it! We were blessed enough to get out for first recess for some fresh air. As soon as we got indoors, it began to rain. Our journal entry this afternoon was: "Favorite Activities on a Rainy Day". I shared with the students that I used to play with Play-Doh and Legos and make chocolate chip cookies with my mom (this is back in the grade school days, thought cookies sound good right about now...). The students shared their rainy day activities: playing in puddles, walking in the rain, playing board games, playing chess, and probably most popular was SLEEP. As I type this now we are enjoying some quiet time with classical musical and a nice calming English test...ahhhhh.
Ok, back to business. There are a few students who still need to bring in their $1 for the play. They should know who they are! Don't forget to bring in those costumes by Friday!

The students were very chatty this morning as they welcomed their classmates back. I heard about all the exciting things the students did over break. Most importantly, I hope we all took time to be in worship and celebrate the victory of Savior over sin! Easter blessings to you!
