Another rainy day Caledonia...

...but we are loving it! We were blessed enough to get out for first recess for some fresh air. As soon as we got indoors, it began to rain. Our journal entry this afternoon was: "Favorite Activities on a Rainy Day". I shared with the students that I used to play with Play-Doh and Legos and make chocolate chip cookies with my mom (this is back in the grade school days, thought cookies sound good right about now...). The students shared their rainy day activities: playing in puddles, walking in the rain, playing board games, playing chess, and probably most popular was SLEEP. As I type this now we are enjoying some quiet time with classical musical and a nice calming English test...ahhhhh.

Ok, back to business. There are a few students who still need to bring in their $1 for the play. They should know who they are! Don't forget to bring in those costumes by Friday!
