Happy Monday!
Announcements:
Our field trip this Friday will be to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. We will leave here around 10:45 am to be there by 11:30 am. We will eat lunch and then canoe! For those who might be concerned, the small pond that we will be in is 2-4 ft deep and every child will have a life jacket. It is a very calm pond. I took the 8th grade class when they were in 6th grade and they had a blast...and no one fell in! I will send out a final note to all of chaperons on Thursday.

Welcome to the Weekend!

Thanks for coming to Doughnuts with Dad day! It was great to see you all there.
Our field trip next Friday will be to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. We will leave here around 10:45 am to be there by 11:30 am. We will eat lunch and then canoe! What a wacky Wednesday...

It was a wacky one indeed. Picture day always has a way of messing up schedules and it definitely did that today. Homework was lighter and there really wasn't a lot of study time this afternoon (lunch went late, long Math class, PE...). I did what I could to alleviate loads of homework coming home.

Welcome back!
I hope that everyone enjoyed the extra day off this weekend. I spent time with my family in LaCrosse, WI. It was great to be around family but it is also great to be back with "my" kids.

I hope that everyone enjoyed the extra day off this weekend. I spent time with my family in LaCrosse, WI. It was great to be around family but it is also great to be back with "my" kids.
Announcements:
Grade reports did not go home last week and yes, that was the plan! There are too few grades in the book to really mean much right now. Look for the first progress report to come home NEXT Thursday.
