Welcome to a new week AND a new quarter!

Announcements:

I hope that everyone had an enjoyable weekend. I learned lots of new things at our teacher's conference last week that I should be able to implement already this week. One of the new things on my list is exploring new Google Apps and Extensions that can aid in learning. Students without internet access at home, will have to spend time in class to work on these items but I think it will make the learning process more enjoyable and hands on. I look forward to sharing a few of those items soon!

We will have a NEW typing program starting tomorrow. This program will give me a better handle on how the students are progressing in their typing. I was having issues with the other program so I've decided to make a switch. It shouldn't affect the students too much!

Homework:

Christ Light - Ws. 11a on Joseph and his brothers
Catechism - Nothing due tomorrow...they are working on finishing a lesson in class tomorrow
Memory Work - 6th Commandment
English - Ws. 19/17...review the next two days...TEST on Wednesday!
Lit - "Who Will Teach Me?" students are getting REALLY good at picking out metaphors! Pg. 397 #1-4 in complete sentences
Science - Quick Lab in class today - posters on the size of the planets...will finish up tomorrow in class
History - Pg. 170 #1-12 (6-12 in Complete Sentences!) and Wb. 41 (check to be sure that all Ch. 5 Wb. pages are complete) TEST on Thursday!
Math - Lesson 32, all
Spelling - Wb. page and Ws.
