What a beautiful fall day today! 

Yes, it may be chilly, but the beautiful sunshine is a blessing! Just a reminder to make sure that your student is prepared for the colder weather.  If you send them to school with a coat in the morning, that is what I will make sure they wear at recess. Encourage them to wear hats and gloves as we get even colder weather. I know it is (hopefully) a ways off, but I do require students to wear boots when it snows; however, snow pants are optional.

Reminder - take home Social Studies Fair projects. Thank you.

We sing as a school next Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm for the Thanksgiving Eve service.

I am sending home a note today (I know...it's not a Thursday...sorry!) about an extra canvassing date for this Thursday, November 15. This is entirely OPTIONAL and it is after school. I would take students after school to some of the neighborhoods that we have not been covered yet and distribute flyers till about 4:45, when it starts to get dark. We would then come back to school for some pizza. All I would ask is for $3 donation to cover costs of the pizza and juice. Parents are welcome to join me in driving and pizza. Please fill out the form if interested or if your child would just like to go.

Tuition payments for this month also came home with some students.

Catechism - Ws. 21 on judgement day
Lit - "The Whistling Boy" Pg. 121 #1-7 in complete sentences
English - Rough Draft of 3 paragraph expository essay...on paper, skip lines!
Math - Lesson 40 from Monday. Test tomorrow! Meet Math was today. Ask your student how they did.
Science - VoBo (ask your student to explain. Thank you to the 6th grade girls for being creative!)
History - Read Lesson 3 on Hinduism, take notes, Wb. 33

WoD: sunshine (how many songs come to mind when you hear that word? I got three...)
